Zaya Increases Access to Quality, In-Network Maternal Care in New York
Zaya today announced it is collaborating with three major insurance companies to make its maternal care services available in-network to more people across New York state. The company – which helps new and expecting parents find in-network care beyond their OB/GYN – is adding Aetna, EmblemHealth, and UnitedHealthcare commercial plans in New York.
Through Zaya’s website, members of these plans can now find and book care with in-network maternal health specialists, many of whom were previously out of network. Zaya’s network of practitioners offers both at-home and video visits to best address member needs.
Zaya will be expanding its network of lactation consultants, physical therapists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and acupuncturists across New York to meet the rising demand for comprehensive maternal care.
“Zaya is committed to making whole-person maternal care more accessible,” said Leoni Runge, Founder and CEO of Zaya. “We are thrilled about our latest collaborations with some of the nation’s largest insurance carriers, getting us one step closer to achieving our mission of establishing a new standard of maternal care in the U.S.”
Zaya plans to continue its expansion across the country, collaborating with innovative health plans that are looking to offer comprehensive pregnancy and postpartum care to their members.
